Welcome to Mary Freer from @ChangedayAus!

Hi there,

Very excited to have met Mary Freer over the weekend, on Twitter! I am now much more informed about @ChangedayAus, and all that was accomplished truly on social media.

So, not one to pass up on an opportunity, we have invited Mary to come along and be part of the panel discussion about successful social media campaigns.

Here’s more about Mary and @ChangedayAus!

In 2015 Change Day promises to be even bigger.”

Over many years Mary has contributed to Australia’s national health and social care reform agenda through her work with state and commonwealth agencies. She has held senior leadership positions with national government and not for profit health care and social welfare services, including women’s and community health services, healthdirect Australia, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet in South Australia, Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation, Health Workforce Australia and now as Director of freerthinking.

See you by the seaside!

We are excited  to announce our next speaker for #SoMebythesea,  Dionne Kasian-Lew.

Headshot Dionne KL

Dionne is thrilled to be interfacing with the medical profession and educating us about social media and medicine, applying key learnings from other professional bodies as well. If you think that the social media has no role in the future of medicine, and that our profession is somehow different to others, think again! Dionne is ready to show you why you need to know about, embrace and influence via social media. Above all else, if you are not putting out who you are, what you stand for and how you practice, others will. Dionne will also take part in the panel discussion showcasing @AHPRAaction and @Scrapthecap, and provide her unique insights into how important it is to guide our regulatory bodies when they create policy regarding the use of social media for our profession.
